We are planning a 12 hour challenge run on Saturday Sept 5th, with the club barn dance afterwards to cool off!  This will be a fundraising event for Green Squeeze and a local charity.

The run will go from 6am till 6pm, with headquarters at Risley Village Hall.  All day refreshments are planned.  There are opportunities to run for the full 12 hours, relay run as part of a team, run a single leg, run in fancy dress, run the fastest leg.  We will also have a walking class to encourage families to take part.

The plan is to invite the press and others to present prizes and publicise the campaign.

The proposed is below, which is 5 miles long and avoids roads, the golf course and other problems.

There are people from Green Squeeze who will be able to help organise publicity, marshalling, and other tasks on the day.
