Fantastic turn out from Erewash yesterday at the Lathkilldale ramble. Total of 7 including 3 new converts to the dark side. Andy Watson Jnr., Clare Labram and Tom Stokes.
 
Amusingly I shot off down the hill like I had one of Rich's sonic boom bangers up my ****. Still only took Matt until the bottom of the hill to come past, Rich took his time strolling by half way along up river stretch but then gradually accelerating away after Matty. I managed to keep young Scott behind but only because he chose to impale himself on a gate latch, blood everywhere!
 
Well done to Andy, Tom and Clare who all finished very strongly (especially Andy who had a Usain Bolt moment at the finish).
