Summer run, BBQ & barn dance
Following the success of the event 2 years ago, the club is considering a summer run, barbecue and barn dance.
The provisional date is Saturday September 5th in Risley Village Hall.
We are just gathering interest at this point so please give us your feedback, ideas and availability.
Perhaps the run could be over a shortened handicap course with "hazards" on the way round. Failing to complete the tasks incurs time penalties!!!
The hazards could be things like:
The 3 card trick
A daft question (I should know that !!!)
Some kind of balancing or throwing act (very difficult if you are out of breath)
Supping a pint of beer/lemonade in one go !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any other ideas?

have entered a 1/2 IM triathlon at rutland that day ( if I ever get fit again)
but the evenings entertainment sounds like an excellent warm down
