London Marathon – Sunday 23 April 2023
The London Marathon needs no introduction. It is the UK’s most iconic mass participation running event, and is always massively over-subscribed.
The route, of course, takes in some of the most famous London landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, the Cutty Sark and Canary Wharf.
Representing the club in this year’s race were two of our ladies, Nicola Photiou and Sarah Everton. Congratulations to both for a great run on a rather soggy day and also for raising funds for their respective charities. Nicola was running for Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance, and Sarah for the British Heart Foundation.
